Among the long list of what I'm grateful for today is this: 10 years ago I spent the month of October in a hospital isolation ward, hoping that a stem cell transplant would get me to this moment. It did. And it gave me all of the moments in between, too--the births of many of my nieces and nephews, a fireside wedding, family reunions, a move to the sea, and countless other small moments that make every day, a day of thanks.

Wishing each of you a heart with the capacity to recognize and appreciate the blessing that is your life. xo Anna
